Description
Introducing the 1977-82 ₹100 Republic India Bank Note, signed by Governor I.G. Patel. The obverse features India’s seal on the right with Satyamev Jayate written under it in small lettering, the number 100 slightly off-center, and serial numbers in the top right and bottom left. Gradient colors and multiple scripts—Bengali, Devanagari, Gujarati, Kannada, Latin, Malayalam, Odia, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu—enhance its design. The reverse showcases agriculture and electricity, with Devanagari and Latin scripts and the denomination “ONE HUNDRED RUPEES.” The watermark, the Lion Capital of Ashoka, adds historical significance. A valuable addition to any numismatic collection.
